Exotic Fruits Tour

We'll guide you through the labyrinth of one of Medellín's main indoor markets, stopping at different fruit stalls to taste over 10 exotic fruits — most of which you've probably never seen before (we're not talking mangos and pineapples!).

Along the way, we'll introduce you to some of the vendors and explain the benefits of each fruit, plus how to spot ripeness and quality like a local.

At the end, you'll have a chance to sit down at Don Rigo's smoothie bar and enjoy a fresh fruit juice or smoothie.

Value Added Tax (VAT) in Colombia is 19%. According to Colombian law, a VAT exemption can be applied to tourist services for non-residents who provide:

• A copy of the main page of their passport.
• A copy of the full passport page containing the tourist entry stamp (types PIP-3, PIP-5, PIP-6, PIP-10 or visas TP-7, TP-11, TP-12).

Please note: sending only the stamp itself is not sufficient — the complete passport page where the stamp appears is required.

If you send us the required documents using the form provided during booking (before taking the tour), we can apply the exemption and charge you the price excluding VAT. The exemption applies only to the tickets of those from whom we receive the complete documentation.

The tour takes place entirely within the market. We finish inside, and the guide can walk you back to the same entrance where we started.
