Excellent tour. The sites are not spectacular, but the narration and sharing of history as well as personal experiences and perspectives from our guide Juan made it well worth it! It also opened up many possibilities to me, as I had mostly before heard “don’t go to El Centro” period, and now I feel comfortable to return by metro in the daytime and I have a better idea of what to expect and how to get around. It’s also a great chance to take some photos for those who are nervous about pulling out a camera when alone. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Medellin! The only thing that would have made it even better would be the option to take the tour in Spanish!
